- Lead, coach, supervise, and share the best proven safe work methods with all team members for maximum equipment uptime, delivering efficient and safe operations 24/7
- Conduct daily running inspections of all facility areas and equipment to ensure the safety of our people, equipment, and site
- Responsible for scheduling, completion, and compliance with all preventive, corrective, and emergency work orders
- Responsible for maintaining all equipment and site records as required and any service activities undertaken by the site
- Lead daily and weekend maintenance scheduling of work assessments for both equipment and team members to ensure maximum asset utilization and life
- Organize, clean, and repair maintenance shop layout and spare equipment
- Maintain OSHA-compliant working conditions of all electrical units and systems on the site
- Monitor and maintain OSHA-compliant operation of site equipment and systems
- Review the operation of site equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solving problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain site safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal laws
- Ensure city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to the maintenance department are always met
- Communicate directly with the team to coordinate maintenance and repair work in the process area
- Assists with planning and implementing site improvements and expansions
- Be hands-on repairing equipment alongside staff
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills
- Knowledge of common tools, parts, and mechanical materials
- Read and interpret Owner's Manuals, equipment schematics, and work orders
- General knowledge of safe working practices
- Great organizational skills
- Must be able to read, speak, and write English
- Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7/365 business environment
Education and Experience:
- S. diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree, preferred (Engineering Degree highly preferred)
- A Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) is highly recommended
- 2 plus years prior management, leadership/supervisory experience, preferably supervising staff on multiple shifts required
- 5 - 8 years' experience in a maintenance position, including some of the following:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Carpentry
- HVAC
- Tasks vary daily, and some heavy lifting is required
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a motor vehicle record check and employer and government (eQip or eApp) background checks after accepting a conditional offer of employment
