Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to:
- Learns new tasks, remembers processes, maintains focus, completes tasks independently, makes timely decisions in the contexts of workflows, and is able to complete tasks that have a speed and/or productivity quota.
- Responds to emergency situations as required.
- Maintains work area in a clean and safe condition.
- Ensures the safe and timely upkeep and repairs of Agency facilities and equipment in accordance with Agency and/or program policies and procedures.
- Assists in the development of preventative maintenance schedules for facilities and properly performs the tasks in accordance with the established schedule.
- Documents all maintenance functions and inventory of maintenance supplies and maintains accurate records.
- Inspects facility on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure compliance with federal, state and local codes and regulations. Maintains accurate records of inspections on the preventative maintenance checklist and forwards record to Program Manager. Notifies Program Manager of any compliance issues so corrections can be made.
- Oversees delivery and installation of equipment and maintenance supplies.
- Obtains and reviews quotes from outside vendors. Review quotes with Program Manager
- Provides oversight of work completed by vendors.
- Attends administrative and program meetings as directed by supervisor. Attends staff meetings and required training sessions.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years demonstrated advanced trade skills such as carpentry, electricity, plumbing, HVAC, and painting required. Must have the cognitive skills needed to complete tasks, including abilities such as learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision making, problem solving, and comprehending. Has the ability to perform under stress and/or in emergencies. Must have the ability to effectively work with Agency employees and outside contacts. Must have working knowledge of federal, state, and local building, fire and electrical codes.Full Time Benefits Package includes:
