We're looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Systems Reliability Engineer to join our team in Georgia! In this role, you'll be a key player in driving reliability best practices across our manufacturing sites. Your mission is to evaluate and implement new methods and technologies to boost equipment reliability and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with plant maintenance teams to identify and implement improvements based on our Reliability and Maintainability Roadmap.
- Support the development of plant reliability engineers by enhancing their use of maintenance systems for better performance analysis.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on Root Cause Analysis (RCA), providing training and guidance to teams across our locations.
- Work with modernization and maintenance teams to ensure proper equipment design and readiness during the commissioning phase.
- Lead and own assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring solutions are effectively deployed.
- Optimize preventive maintenance by standardizing practices for similar equipment across sites.
- Conduct formal audits to measure adherence to reliability practices and recommend steps for continued progress.
- Train and support users of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) while ensuring data accuracy and process consistency.
- Develop and maintain documentation to guide teams on reliability policies, procedures, and principles.
- Promote key reliability practices, such as the importance of planned maintenance over reactive maintenance and the value of condition-based maintenance.
Key Focus Areas:
- Training and Support: Provide ongoing training to plant maintenance teams, helping them enhance reliability processes
- Performance Measurement: Audit and support progress on the Reliability Roadmap, using formal tools to track improvement
- CMMS Enhancement: Improve and standardize master data structures and workflows in our CMMS
- Project Leadership: Lead assigned projects, delivering effective solutions
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team activities to continually refine our reliability and maintainability processes
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
- Strong knowledge of methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Ability to train and guide teams on reliability activities, and lead analyses using these methodologies.
- Familiarity with predictive technologies like vibration analysis, thermal imaging, ultrasonic testing, oil analysis, and circuit analysis.
