DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMay include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Knowledgeable in the areas of Lock-Out Tag-Out and Arc Flash Safety NFPA 70E.
- Identify and Replace defective components, wiring and mechanical parts.
- Align, adjust and calibrate equipment according to specifications.
- Maintain AC and DC equipment: motors, drives, controls, etc.
- Assist in evaluation of new electrical equipment as requested.
- Experienced using and understanding Volt/OHM meter, amp meter.
- Experienced to read and understand schematic diagrams/drawings.
- Work from elevated platforms.
- Assist in maintaining and refurbishing existing plant equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical devices.
- Assist in the installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintain level of quality consistent with established standards.
- Comply with established safety rules.
- Comply with company policy and procedures.
- Maintain constructive working relationships with co-workers.
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned to the satisfaction of supervisor and/or lead.
- Able to work 12 hr. rotating shifts, days and/or or nights.

Associates degree in electrical/electronic technology, or two years related experience and/or electrical certification and experience.
Experience with Blending and Extrusion equipment preferred, but not required.
Experienced to read electrical schematics and interpret technical manuals. Experienced to fabricate and weld is a plus.
Communicate in writing and orally with supervisors, leads, and other employees. Carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations, and other employees of the organization. Ability towrite routine reports and correspondence.
Must be able to take direct responsibility of workmanship and possess high standard of competence. Required to use own personal working tools.
