About the Role
This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below.
Your Responsibilities
* Determine reasons for equipment failures, repair, and maintain all equipment and facilities expediently to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to maintain uptime goals.
* Order appropriate replacement parts and fluids through the Maintenance Manager.
* Fabricate equipment components using welders, milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools as required.
* Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in the molding department.
* Execute lockout/tag out procedures as required on all department equipment and facilities.
* Assist in the implementation, development and maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
Who we are looking for
* Must have an Associate's Degree in a related and technical field of study required. Six years work related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.
* Must be computer literate on the Windows platform.
Your preferred qualifications
* Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial control is an asset.
* LOTO knowledge.
* Maintain a high departmental standard of cleanliness in all areas.
