Overview:

Perform various manual tasks necessary to repair, build, and overhaul machinery and electrical equipment in the plant. $1 shift differential.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the proper tools to disassemble, assist in preparing, and to reassemble machinery as directed.
• Clean and lubricate parts and machinery as directed.
• Refinish and fabricate parts as needed.
• Report any dangerous conditions to the appropriate personnel immediately.
• Clean work areas.
• Obtain parts as needed.
• Repair safety items on Monthly Safety Inspection.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid NC Drivers License
• Prior electrical experience a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to learn electrical and other mechanical techniques.
• Forklift driving experience preferred, but not required.
• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
