Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.Capable of reading and interpreting technical procedures, service manuals, electrical schematics as necessaryAssist maintaining inventory supplies and equipment parts informing/reporting needed repair parts and or low inventory stockPerform preventative maintenance tasks, work orders, as instructed per Computerized Maintenance Program and or assigned. Ensure all paperwork is filled out, clear, legible and accurateComplete special projects as directed by Plant ManagerAssist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractorsReadily available as required for on-call maintenanceMonitor and maintain all building systems as assignedResponsible for alerting Plant Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage within the plantMaintain a professional courteous manner with all vendors, contractors and fellow employeesFollow all work safe practices such as lockout/tagout, PPE and etc.Ensure compliance of all work related in a fair, ethical and consistent mannerFollow established company policiesBasic Qualifications (Minimum Required Experience, Education, Knowledge/Skills/Abilities, Essential Physical Demands):Education & Experience: High School diploma or G.E.D equivalent desired. Prior maintenance training desired and or 1-year experience in a manufacturing maintenance roleKnowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must be able to troubleshoot machinery such as inspect equipment and recognize issues creating equipment failure. Must possess the following skills: capable of diagnosing and remedying machinery electrical and mechanical failures, diagnosing and remedying hydraulic systems, capable of fabrication (metal cutting, metal assembly, building stands, tables, etc), capable of metal welding, rebuilding pumps, valves, etc. Must be able to work in cooperation with others, communicate effectively, be attentive to detail, and ensure accuracy in work assignments. Flexible to work variable schedules, including weekendsEssential Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position requires individuals to constantly be on their feet except when operating machinery. Should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, climb, and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly. They must be able to climb ladders, and stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.Benefits:
