  • To work and to encourage other team members to work safely at all times utilizing Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures (JSA/SOP).
  • Meet the Company's general requirements for attendance, productivity, quality, and team relationships.
  • Follow Company procedures and specific direction when notifying Management on Safety, Personnel, Environmental, Cost, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and business-related problems.
  • Ability to seek out and obtain assistance from both internal and external sources to successfully perform unusual tasks.
  • Desire to learn PM/PdM techniques.
  • Demonstrate ownership and willingness to take initiative in improving areas of expertise.
  • Assist in the operation of the maintenance and manufacturing process as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications Required
  • Must have the ability to read, write, add, and subtract. To varying degree, possess the ability to use advanced shop mathematics, charts, tables, handbook formulas, and use statistical process control tools and specifications. Use various types of precision measuring instruments, follow written instruction and possess computer skills using programs such as windows operating system, spreadsheets, word processors or equivalent.
  • Must have the knowledge of and the ability to follow procedures established by Management such as, Safety, Personnel, Environmental, Cost, Quality, etc. within the department.
  • Must be able to use considerable judgment to plan and perform work where only general methods are available, and the making of decisions involving considerable initiative and ingenuity.
  • Ability to repair electrical systems, including electric process pumps.
  • Ability to perform couplings alignment, properly install maintain seals, valves, hydraulic and pneumatics systems.
  • Must have general knowledge of all process systems, including machines, stock-prep, chemical systems and wastewater facility.
  • Must be able to safely use precision instruments and equipment such as micrometer, dial indicator and precision level.
Preferred
  • Two Year technical degree preferred with relevant work experience.
Environment
  • Physically capable of light physical efforts equivalent to frequently lifting or moving light weight materials of 5 to 25 lbs.
  • Continuous mental and visual attention performing diversified operations or activities requiring constant alertness or activity.
