- Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
- Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
- Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records
- Participate in Production Ssystem Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, process and quality improvement actions for all facilities
- Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met
- Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
- Follow requirements established in Spring Hill Plant ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
- Assist with any additional tasks as assigned by the company.

Position SpecificationsAuthorities:
- Authority to stop before proceeding if an unsafe condition is met.
- Make changes to process parameters within the specification.
- Repair or replace equipment/items as needed to support production.
- Input work orders.
Knowledge / Skills:
- Technical diploma/Journeyman's card
- Working knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety and Environment skills
- Strong technical problem solving skills
- Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a matrix organisation
- Knowledgeable in NFPA 70E arc flash requirements (electricians)
- Good decision maker, able to work on own initiative;
- Self-motivated and task orientated;
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels;
- Flexible approach to Business needs
Education / Experience:
- At least 3 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment
- Electro-mechanics and automation skills
- Print reading ability for core proficiency..(Electrician or Mechanic)
- Proficient level of English
