Job DetailsDivision: Nucor Tubular - Cedar SpringsLocation: Cedar Springs, GA, United StatesOther Available Locations: GeorgiaBasic Job Functions:Perform daily walk through of assigned areas.Report findings on inspection report, or repair on the spot if applicableRepair emergency problems with minimal downtimeRecord every intervention for daily and future analysis which includes maintenance time consumed and materials issued from the storeroomPerform activities during PM daysWork directly with production personnel to isolate and repair equipment problemsSafety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:Industrial Maintenance experience preferredSupervisor and/or manager recommendationDependable/Flexible to rotating shiftsPreferred Qualifications:High school Diploma or GEDTechnical School or formal training schoolIndustrial or Mechanical experience preferredMust know basic mathMust be able to read and write basic EnglishWilling to work rotating shiftsNucor is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer - M/F/Disabled/Vets - and a drug - free workplace
