Position Title: Maintenance TechnicianDepartment: MaintenanceLocation: Fenton, MOReports To: Facilities and Maintenance ManagerClassification: Hourly - Non-ExemptShift: 1st Shift - (Monday - Friday Hours) Position Summary:The Maintenance Technician will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery and facilities.Essential Job Duties: Performs preventive maintenance, inspections, and service on machines.Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessary.Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts.Installs replacement parts for machines.Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines.Repairs or replaces machine components quickly and efficiently.Prepares reports documenting work performed.Cleans, organizes, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education: Some vocational or community college with related coursework or equivalent experience, required. Required Experience/Skills: Experience with CNC wiring and repair.PLC troubleshooting.General working knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine wiring.Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.Works well independently and with others.Good communication skills.Organized with attention to detail. Desired Experience/Skills: Machining & Fabrication experience.
