If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you're going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityThe person in this position will troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in the production area and communicate issues to the maintenance manager and/or area supervisors in order to maintain a productive, safe and clean work environment.n1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies andprocedures2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines3. Assure vendors follow the Menasha Contractor Safety guidelines and keep current on annual orientation4. Provide ongoing communication regarding work orders in process and status of various projects5. Complete scheduled work orders electronically and monitor results6. Assure weekly that the maintenance area is organized and paperwork signed (includes maintenance officeand maintenance storage locations)7. Enhance internal and external department communication toward creating and maintaining a cohesivework environment8. Discuss maintenance concerns with maintenance manager and/or lead9. Proactively communicate problems encountered to applicable areas10. Provide electrical/mechanical troubleshooting11. Perform preventive maintenance duties and provide accurate documentation of such duties12. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reportingrequirements13. Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives14. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors**Strong electrical background: Would Prefer a candidate that would know 3 phase 480 VAC all the way down to 12V DCControl Hiring and trouble shooting. Basic understanding of electrical drawings. Understanding the use of a Multimeter.Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctionsLocates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instrumentsWires and installs AC/DC motors, drives, racks, and motion control equipment.Electrical trouble shooting using the proper tools and PPE.Controls downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques.Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.Uses computer system to document work and account for parts.Communicates with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or other.Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Ability to use rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.Ability to operate equipment including machines, alignment tools, high lifts, forklifts, boom lifts, scissors lifts, etc.Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, motors and drives, PLC, and instrumentation and process controlsPrefer working on Printing industrial equipment.Hours are 3:00pm to 11:00pm 2nd shift has a 2 dollar shift differential Two companies, one vision.Menasha Corporation consists of two companies that are leading the way to a sustainable future with packaging and supply chain solutions.
