Your opportunity We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team in Americus, GA on first shift (6am to 2:30pm). You'll be responsible for preventative maintenance, installation and decommissioning of all equipment, buildings and grounds and new projects.   • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment throughout the manufacturing site
  • Provide general production support troubleshooting equipment issues
  • Handle logic controller programming
  • Handle general facilities maintenance
  • Participate in special projects throughout the facility
Your qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience handling maintenance in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
  • General knowledge of electrical work including motor, panel and conduit planning and installation; electrical certification a plus
  • Ability to safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in equipment and building repair/maintenance work
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job; performing maintenance on equipment will require bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; performing facilities maintenance may require climbing a ladder or using a man lift to access plumbing and electrical fixtures
  • Experience troubleshooting and handling equipment repairs including brake presses, CNC turrets, panel benders, etc
  • Proven ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and symbol knowledge
  • Basic electronics and advanced control wiring knowledge along with program logic controller programming and troubleshooting knowledge and experience
