Relocation offered!Job DetailsJob Details:We are on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician for our Corrugated Manufacturing department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative team in the Manufacturing industry. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing our mechanical systems and equipment.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the following:1. Conducting routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure operational performance and optimum utilization.2. Performing preventive maintenance tasks on machines, equipment and plant facilities, following the company's maintenance procedures and schedules.3. Troubleshooting and diagnosing faults in mechanical systems and equipment, identifying the root causes of problems and implementing effective solutions.4. Repairing or replacing defective parts in machinery and equipment, utilizing a range of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.5. Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance work performed, including the details of repairs, parts used, and the time taken.6. Collaborating with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve overall team performance.7. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and practices, maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.8. Assisting in the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and practices, contributing ideas and suggestions for operational efficiency and cost reduction.Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Technician position will have the following qualifications:1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Corrugated Manufacturing sector.2. Proven expertise in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and equipment repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.3. A relevant technical qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.4. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose faults and implement effective solutions.5. Proficiency in using a range of hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.6. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.7. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of relevant safety regulations and practices.8. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet maintenance schedules.9.
