Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician - Electrical will engage in equipment maintenance to ensure continuous, uninterrupted production operations. This position will be involved with basic and advanced electrical work as needed and as qualified. This position reports to the maintenance supervisor.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensure work is completed in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform responsibilities of conducting corrective and preventative maintenance of production equipment and their controls to ensure proper operation of machinery
- Troubleshoot automation and instrumentation issues on equipment (PLC, AC Drives, HMI, devices, etc.)
- Communicate directly with the production department to coordinate preventative maintenance as well as review repair work orders and discuss TPM activities
- Assist in training maintenance personnel as required
- Accurately prepare and maintain maintenance-related documents, including work orders, daily reports, etc.
- Perform other position related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 4 years of experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
- Ability to perform the physical demands of a maintenance activities
- Basic maintenance tool understanding and ability to use tools properly
- Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical system troubleshooting and repair
Preferred:
- Advanced knowledge with electricity and electronics Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Fabrication experience
- CAD based software proficiency
- Robotics (including end of arm tooling) repair and programming experience
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- May be exposed to cleanroom environment, welding, mixing, noise, high temperature, low humidity, air-conditioning, CT Scan, X-Ray, and high-security areas.
