Our client, a well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced **Maintenance Technician** to join their team.
**Position Summary:** The Facility Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe operation and maintenance of essential equipment, including steam boilers, water chillers, cooling towers, well pumps, HVAC systems, and various other utilities within the plant. Given the significant amount of data collection and reporting involved, strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this position.
**Key Responsibilities and Requirements:**
+ **Qualifications:** Candidates should possess technical training in a maintenance-related field or have at least three years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance. Training in boilers, chillers, or HVAC systems is highly preferred.
+ **Water Testing:** Ability to learn and perform daily wet chemistry water testing, with a focus on accurate data recording.
+ **Computer Skills:** Basic computer literacy is required for data management and reporting.
+ **Professionalism:** Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
+ **Repairs:** Perform mechanical and electrical repairs according to established procedures outlined in technical manuals and preventative maintenance work orders.
+ **Tools:** Candidates must provide and maintain their own basic tools necessary for the job.
+ **Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift, stand, walk, climb ladders, and engage in various physical activities as part of job responsibilities.
