Job DetailsJob Details:We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our production line and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of industrial machinery and equipment. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Use PLC programming to troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated equipment.
  • Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment for maintenance purposes.
  • Solid understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming and its applications in automated machinery.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
  • Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime if needed.
  • Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
