Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional customer service-oriented Maintenance Technician with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We have openings at our Yonkers, NY location.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am -4pm
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
The ideal candidate would be responsible for:
+ Performing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring.
+ Conducting regular inspections of buildings to ensure safety standards are met.
+ Performing general maintenance to keep products in working condition.
+ Scheduling major repairs with building occupants.
+ Addressing customer concerns and emotions in a timely and effective manner.
+ Assist management with any request for residents in the building.
+ Disassembling equipment to remove damaged components and reassembling it after repairs.
Requirements:
+ Diploma/GED required
+ Must be professional, reliable, and have excellent customer service skills.
+ Physically capable of lifting 23 kg unassisted
+ Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools.
+ Able to work well with minimal supervision
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
+ Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
Other Requirements
+ MUST have reliable transportation.
+ Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
+ Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.
+ Must be available to work on-call or when needed due to staffing shortages
+ Must pass comprehensive background check.
