The purpose of this job is to perform a variety of manual and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance and repair of equipment, facilities, and grounds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. * Maintains cleanliness of city facilities.
* Conducts preventative maintenance of structures and equipment; performs minor repairs to fixtures as directed.
* Assists with ordering, maintaining, and distributing supplies.
* Repairs or replaces appliances and equipment.
* Paints prepared surfaces.
* Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* No supervisory authority. Work may require providing guidance and training to others.
