The primary purpose of Maintenance Technician I includes inspecting and maintaining the general upkeep of buildings and equipment. Performing preventive maintenance on Heinzerling vehicles, and performing minor repairs within the facilities and on grounds.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
* Clean and inspect equipment after each use
* Practice and follow safety guidelines
* Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs; replace light bulbs, air filters etc.
* Identify and assist with carpentry and repair work
* Operate a variety of machinery, equipment and tools including saws, routers, drills, and various hand tools.
* Set up for facility functions
* Pick up parts for equipment if necessary
* Assist with snow removal or mowing as requested
* Fulfills on-call responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
* Must be able to lift/carry up to 100 pounds regularly
* Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear.
* Must be able to stay awake for the entire shift.
* High School Diploma or GED Preferred
* Three to six months related job experience or training necessary
* Must be able to add, subtract, divide and multiple in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and email.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

PAY RATE + HOURS:
$18.75 / hour
7:30am - 4:00pm
Monday - Friday with some on-call responsibilities
