Job Summary: Responsible for preforming and scheduling repairs and maintenance for all facilities and grounds in realm of responsibility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Troubleshoots problems to identify needed repairs and renovations.
* Performs basic wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, assembly, and general repairs.
* Operates maintenance tools and machinery to achieve tasks safely and to quality.
* Communicates to management any identified issues or safety concerns.
* Coordinates repairs with outside contractors.
* Coordinates with site management to perform scheduled preventative maintenance to satisfaction.
* Performs all duties in a safe and professional manner and in accordance with safety manual.
* Collaborates with management on project schedules, timelines, and urgency.
* Participates in weather-related clean up including snow and debris removal from facilities.
* Ability to understand business needs and react to requests proactively to support business and internal customers.
* Obtains bids from vendors and presents to management for review.
* Provides on-site guidance for vendors.
* Procures necessary materials to perform work.
* Knowledgeable of preventive maintenance program and performs scheduled preventive maintenance.
* Participates on the divisional safety committee.
* Assists in training new maintenance and custodial employees.
* Additional duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
* 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience required.
* Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
* Driver's License: Must maintain a valid license to drive at all times.
