Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to AbbVies code of conduct
  • Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met
  • Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
  • Capable of training others on tasks
  • Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
  • Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
  • Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
  • Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
  • Awkward/forceful/repetitive motions (arms above shoulders, bent wrists, etc.) is required
  • Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hr day) is required
  • Routine work with chemicals
  • Wear ear plugs
  • Work at heights, e.g. ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, etc.
  • Work in a clean room environment
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Work in noisy environment
  • Repeated bending, stooping, squatting or kneeling is required
Qualifications
  • HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions
  • Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)
