Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for a Maintenance II Technician in our Tifton, Ga. facility who will be responsible for safe and efficient creation of new equipment or repair to old equipment, utilizing multiple maintenance skills. Duties include ensuring that they read the maintenance order properly, ensure all raw materials and tools are available, perform preventive maintenance, and properly store all tools, waste, and unused materials, and follow all quality check requirements.Functional Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures - Lock, Tag, Try / personal protective equipment
- Must be able to read work orders, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and other types of schematics.
- Must be able to communicate orally with all employees and supervisors when working in teams or when troubleshooting equipment and keep accurate records in their log book .
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately and operate a calculator for mathematical computations.
- Must be able to recognize colors and shapes to ensure maintenance meets work order requirements.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
