Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a highly skilled Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title** : Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)
**Location** : Columbus, IN
**Pay Range:** Starting Pay Rate: $27-35/hr
**What's the Job?**
+ Performs skilled activities to support manufacturing business needs using appropriate tools, machinery, and specialty equipment.
+ Learns and adheres to safety protocols for working with electricity and industrial equipment.
+ Conducts routine inspections and performs preventive, emergency, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
+ Provides feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and ensures all process documentation and quality procedures are followed.
+ Identifies and reduces manufacturing constraints, solving problems and improving processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience or education.
+ Proven experience in documentation and control, engineering discipline, or related field.
+ Skills in operating and maintaining process equipment, including robots, HMI's, parameters, and control systems.
+ Ability to troubleshoot process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
+ Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on customer service and making timely decisions.
