Maintenance Technician I, II, and II Location: Osborn Pointe Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

POSITION SUMMARY:This position must be multi-skilled and knowledgeable in assessing repair needs; must be resourceful; will perform various duties that are of average difficulty in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repair and maintenance; will do general preventative maintenance upkeep of several separate buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Perform all general maintenance and repair of NAC facilities and equipment.
- Troubleshoot problems and take appropriate action.
- Control monthly budget on assigned properties.
- Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase materials at low cost, and obtain bids when necessary.
- Maintain inventory of all tools and supplies.
- Prepare Turn-key on assigned apartments or rooms within the time frame set by the Director - usually 72 hours.
- Complete assigned maintenance requests within the time frame set by the Director - usually 48 hours.
- Complete electronic work orders in a timely manner.
- Stay current on all applicable building codes and safety standards.
- Will be on-call as necessary and respond to on-call emergencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
WORK EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT: - HVAC Certified and 2 years experience in AC repair
- 2 years' experience in appliance repair
- At least one (2) years experience in apartment and/or building maintenance.
- Demonstrated skill in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repair and building maintenance and repairs
- Be able to effectively communicate and secure bids for repairs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors, and vendors.
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills; and customer service skills.
- Must demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving; and organizational and time management skills.
- Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license, liability insurance, and a dependable vehicle
- MS Office proficiency
- Fingerprint Certificates within 90 days of hire.
- Understand the ethical boundaries necessary to work in the environment of recovering substance abusers.
- Experience in working with the Native American population preferred
- Able to perform the physical functions listed below
PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: - Able to stand, bend, or kneel for long periods.
- Able to climb (ladders, etc.).
- Able to lift 60 lbs., or more.
- Able to reach above shoulder height.
- Able to crawl on any type of surface.
- Operate in an outdoor or maintenance shop environment
