(Responsibilities Summary As a journeyman position this job has high level mechanical skills related to molding machines, auxiliary systems, and a manufacturing plant's general infrastructure needs. Job Responsibilities Commitment to safety is a #1 priority. To diagnose problems and make the important repairs to get the machine back online as quickly as possible. To communicate with affected team members on the production floor, in setup, and other maintenance personnel. Must perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce down time. Must provide your own tools. Must use the appropriate tool in the safest way possible for the appropriate task. Support the Maintenance Manager in meeting the team/plant goals, searching for cost savings opportunities, and managing down time Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift 35 pounds or more repeatedly. Prior experience with injection and blow mold machines in a maintenance capacity. Basic math skills with an understanding of the decimal system. Ability to work overtime and be on call to handle emergency situations.
