QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Mechanical & electrical maintenance skills
- Positive attitude toward team working & performing work assignments
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Self motivated & self directed, requiring minimal supervision
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends, holidays, and other shift/s
- Basic computer skills
- Accept and complete company paid training as available and deemed necessary
JOB DUTIES SUMMARY includes but not limited to:Performs maintenance functions for all manufacturing and related support equipment, grounds and facilities. Installation, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and cleaning of same. Support & participate in ongoing TPM & TQM practices. Follow maintenance schedules and maintaining service records. Observe plant and departmental safety, operating, and housekeeping procedures. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE but are not limited to:
- Installation, troubleshooting, repairs of all manufacturing & related equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of plant equipment and work area/s
- Learn & utilize computer skills as it pertains to specific equipment and departmental scheduling & record keeping
- Practice lock-out / tag-out procedures
- Maintain inventory of supplies and spare components
- Participate in and support of process improvement programs
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
- Climbing: Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms.
- Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
- Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
- Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
- Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
- Crawling: Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
