Position is located at Courtside Cellars

The Maintenance Technician level 1 provides mechanical maintenance/repair support for central coast wineryoperations. Responsibilities will include troubleshooting machinery issues, documenting repairs, and replacing or repairing defective parts. You'll also reassemble equipment and test for conformance to specifications, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

In this role, you'll work on assigned projects, disassembling malfunctioning equipment to examine and test mechanisms on both large and small pieces of machinery. You'll inspect, test, and calibrate instruments, adjusting calibration to ensure equipment functions within specified standards. Your ability to interpret technical documents, such as prints and manuals, will be crucial in performing these tasks effectively. You'll perform basic electrical installations, plumbing, and piping operations, ensuring all work is done safely; operating machining tools, drill presses, and performing basic welding operations will also be part of your day-to-day activities. You'll service pumps and drive system components, troubleshoot alarms related to key winery systems, and provide preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting services for a variety of equipment, including barrel processing, bottling line, and filtration equipment.

Day - 5am to 1:30pm

Compensation:

  • Hiring HourlyRange Posted: $29.23 / hr - $39.42 / hr + $3,500 sign-on bonus!
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

What You Will Need:

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of maintenanceexperience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels ofresponsibility; OR Associates degree or 2-year Technical Degree in Mechanical or AutomotiveMaintenance and Repair plus 1 year of maintenance experience working on equipment orindustrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, industrial mechanical or automotiveenvironment.
  • Required to complete and maintain certifications as assigned.
  • Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (ifapplicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm ahistory of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate statedriver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
  • Depending on work location may be required to work a rotating shift/schedule throughout the year(day, swing, graveyard, 5x8, 4x10); required to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
  • Required to conduct work at heights.
  • Required to lift and carry tools and equipment that weighs up-to 50 pounds.
  • Required to work in a tight and confined space.
  • Required to provide own basic hand tools.
  • Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training,meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of thetime, with or without reasonable accommodation. What Will Set You Apart:

  • High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 4 years of maintenanceexperience working on equipment or industrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels ofresponsibility; OR Associates degree or 2-year Technical Degree in Mechanical or AutomotiveMaintenance and Repair plus 3 years of maintenance experience working on equipment orindustrial motors and pumps reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Industrial trade experience to include Refrigeration and HVAC.
  • Skilled in forklift and aerial lift operation.
  • Experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
