When Delivery Matters...Job DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be a critical part of keeping our manufacturing team operating at full capacity! The Maintenance Technician responds to and troubleshoots electrical and/or mechanical problems, dismantling, repairing, rebuilding, and maintaining existing machinery and equipment to keep our equipment at its optimal condition. Electrical experience is highly desired. Excellent benefits!Essential Job Functions
- Dismantle, rebuild and reassemble machinery using hand and power tools
- Installs wiring of electronic devices
- Installation of a wide range of new and used equipment
- Wiring new electrical panels by following electrical drawings/prints
- Installation of both water and electrical plumbing
- Support required ISO documents/records associated with this department.
- Observe and listen to operating machinery or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustments or repairs
- Maintains the preventive maintenance on equipment, as scheduled
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of electrical wiring and components;
- Experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase, and low voltage controls
- AC DC motor controls
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and blueprint
- Ability to work independently; self-starter
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Forklift driving experience desired.
Qualifications
- Completion of High School, GED, or equivalent.
- 2-5 of experience working as a Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician, maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical problems
- Knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements. (Examples: Lock Out/Tag Out, Pinch Points, electrical codes, HMIS/MSDS requirements, waste disposal.)
