Position Title: Maintenance TechnicianWage: $20-$25/hourShift: 1stHours: 6am-3pmQPS Employment Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a company in Oconomowoc, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity.Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Perform all entry level tasks as needed such as building maintenance, trips to hardware store, and routine preventative maintenance to forklifts, fire extinguishers, lights, etc.- Independent work on entire pieces and/or subsystems of production equipment- Preventative maintenance of the molding machines and auxiliary equipment such as granulators, water temperature controllers, etc.Maintenance Technician Requirements:- High school diploma or GED equivalent- Training and experience in at least one of the following skills: hydraulics, pneumatics, machinery repair, electricity, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC, welding- Valid Wisconsin driver's license- Skill in using measuring instruments- Ability to work independently- Ability to work overtime and/or Saturdays as required- Prior experience in using hand/power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, Skil saws, etc.- Ability to read blueprints- Ability to diagnose and repair devices and mechanisms of moderate difficulty- Ability to read and understand factory manuals on different pieces of equipment and apply the knowledge to the task at hand- Climb, bend, reach, and lift- Personal set of hand toolsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
