The Expert Equipment Technician position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who doesn't stray away from a challenge. This position uses blueprints, schematics, small/power tools and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and determine causes of operating problems in areas including but not limited to plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources and mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. What you'll do: T roubleshoots breakdowns on production equipment and mechanical components Must be able to wire electrical panels Must be able to install equipment from the ground up Ability to break down and repair/build Performs complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components including basic pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Troubleshoots electrical problems, performs preventative maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components
  • Performs preventative maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs to production and mechanical equipment, machinery and components.
  • Determines causes of operating problems, consults schematics and orders replacement parts. Performs high voltage electrical repairs (e.g. controls, relays).
  • Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications using electrical and electronic test equipment.
  • Lays out, builds, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies production electronic components, parts, switch panels etc.
  • May test new equipment, troubleshoots operation, and makes minor adjustments to equipment.
  • Maintains and completes all required records.
  • Follows all safety rules and practices.
  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned.

May require working in narrow or confined work spaces for extended periods of time Tasks may require physical strength and dexterity
  • Basic troubleshooting / 3 Phase / equipment up to 600v
May require extensive kneeling, bending and standing for long periods of time
  • Candidates must be available and able to work Day or Night Shift schedule
