Description: Multiple Locations Must have reliable transportation Pay Rate: $25-30/hour Sign-On Bonus $1200 After the completion of one year of service. Job Summary for Maintenance Technician: Perform mechanical, electrical and preventative maintenance on CNC and manual equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician: Ensures operation of CNC machinery such as press brakes, lathes and mills by completing preventive maintenance requirements as establishes by manufacturer's specifications. Inspect, operate, or test CNC and manual machinery or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and initiate repairs as required. Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools. Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance. Performs repairs to hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components. Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and physical structure of all production facilities. Install, repair, and inspect various industrial electrical machinery and systems. Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting for electrical and mechanical components. Non- Essential Duties for Maintenance Technician: Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges. Provides communication to production on potential equipment problems that could negatively affect operations. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educations workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with OSHA regulations and company procedures and rules. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Maintenance Technician: Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings. Knowledge of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations. Able to follow directions and perform repetitive maintenance tasks. Technical understanding of maintenance concepts and practices. Able to quickly change focus and priority from one issue to the next based on needs of the production floor. Basic common safety practices, OSHA certification a plus. Basic writing and math skills. Able to function a software PM system. Experience and Education for Maintenance Technician: High School Diploma or GED 3-4 years maintenance experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Equivalent combination of education and experience Special Requirements for Maintenance Technician: Machine shop work environment; dust, grease and metal shavings common. Significant safety risks from equipment and environment require constant vigilance and care. Able to work holidays, and weekends as requested at all facilities; overtime may be required during peak business periods and to meet rush requirements. Complies with all safety requirements when on the shop floor including steel toed boots/shoes; safety glasses; and when required, hearing and/or ear protection Willing to work in other areas and departments as needed.
