In this position, you will be part of the maintenance team helping to keep our greenhouses and all associated systems working efficiently to produce the best product possible. Curiosity, flexibility, and a willingness to challenge yourself will be taken into account.
As part of the maintenance team, you will be expected to: respond to alarms 24-7 (if on-call), perform preventive maintenance, observe and report mechanical issues to the maintenance manager (daily walk-around), perform repairs as needed, assist with new installations.
The successful candidate for this position will have demonstrated skills in the following areas: line voltage, control voltage, plumbing, heating, hand and power tools, and basic mechanics. Experience with variable frequency drives, pumps and circulators, hydronic heating systems, and low voltage controls is preferred.
