- Implement facility maintenance policies and precedures in an efficient, cost-effefctive manner to safely meet residents' needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
- Implement monitoring systems for the maintenancedepartment and make recommendations for implementation to assure compliance with requirements
- Notify supervisor when supplies are needed
- notify supervisor when equipment is in need of repair
- notify supervisor when areas of the facility are in need of repair
- possess understanding of general maintenance procedures
- perform maintenance and repair procedures in accordance with facility policy
- follow safety program
- consistently work cooperatively with residents, residents' representatives, facility staff, physicians, consultants and ancillary service providers
- perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
