Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
* Maintains building and equipment: Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on building systems, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
* Prioritizes safety: Identifies and rectifies safety hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Provides technical support: Offers technical assistance to restaurant staff as needed.
Essential Qualifications
* HVAC and refrigeration certification.
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
* Attention to detail and safety-oriented mindset.
* Physical stamina to handle demanding work.
Technical Skills
* Extensive knowledge HVAC, Walk-in refrigerators and freezers, refrigerated prep tables, ice machines, cooking equipment, etc.
* Basic skills in plumbing & electrical
* Ability to operate and maintain equipment and tools.
Soft Skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck, SUV or van)
* Must have own tools
* Ability to pass a background check.
* Computer literacy (Windows, Microsoft Office).
