DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of multiple office locations including buildings, properties, and equipment. Activities entail plumbing repair, equipment repair, furniture, and equipment relocation, painting and minor construction.RequirementsQualifications and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentValid North Carolina driver's licenseTwo to five years of building repair or construction experienceExperience with various hand tools and power tools Ability to meet deadlines with a low level of supervision needed to accomplish tasks Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to be flexible and highly responsive to needs and requests Strong ability to prioritize and perform multiple projects concurrently Attention to detail with a high level of accuracyResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, the followingPrioritize and complete work order assignments received by phone, email and maintenance ticketing systemPerform routine maintenance at the main and satellite facilitiesInspect lighting and replace bulbs as neededMinor construction such as shelving, replacing molding, replacing door locks, paintingInspect patient areas and recondition as neededExterior cleaning and repair, shoveling snow, and debris removal as neededCoordinate external vendor maintenance and repair visitsPlan and oversee the relocation of equipment and furnitureTransport supplies, material and equipment between office locations, and other outside vendorsResponsible for afterhours/security calls as neededMaintains a pleasant, cooperative demeanor while performing all dutiesOther:Follows all applicable department and practice policies and proceduresMaintains patient confidentiality, complies with HIPAA privacy and confidentiality guidelines established by the practicePerforms other duties as required and assigned by the Clinical Director.
