Challenger School is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team in Utah As a maintenance technician at Challenger, you will be tasked with keeping our campuses safe, functional, and well-maintained. The standard work week is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm with occasionalovertime opportunities. On a day-to-day basis, you will be inspecting facilities, performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to urgent repair requests, and coordinating larger maintenance projects.
Responsibilities
* Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
* Comply with OSHA standards, government licensing, safety, and operational requirements
* Maintain interior and exterior functionality and safety of the school building
* Keep school grounds clear and functional through all seasons
* Occasionally travel to other Utah campuses to assist with maintenance tasks- 30 mile radius
* Work patiently with coworkers and campus staff
Qualifications
* Reliable personal vehicle (mileage paid)
* General knowledge/experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
* Ability to pass background check
* Completion of pre-employment assessments
