Maintenance Technician

Responsible for completion of preventive maintenance and repair of non clinical equipment in a hospital setting, and clinic settings. Requires travel with company service vehicle to complete tasks as assigned. Completed assigned work orders, both preventive and corrective functions and closes them in the data base. Maintains parts ad tools to complete tasks as assigned. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, medical gasses, life safety devices, boilers and hvac units required for this role. Previous hospital experience or specialized trade, hvac, electrical, or plumbing acceptable alternative experience. Basic building maintenance knowledge, painting, minor carpentry and mechanical work and use of hand tools and power tools is required. Inspection of location conditions grounds, roofing, and general spaces and identifying any safety deficiencies and correction of the items. Maintains the hospital provided service truck with local resources as needed. Report to the Manager and/or Director of Facilities and interacts with outside clinic staff to completes tasks as needed. A self starter that can work with minimal direct supervision is desired. When not at off sit locations supports the main hospital with the plant operations staff.
