Location: Lebanon, TennesseeShift: 1st - Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pmJob Summary The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and performing repairs as needed. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, optimizing productivity, and maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks for manufacturing equipment and facilities in accordance with established schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform diagnostic tests to identify root causes of issues.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems on manufacturing equipment, such as motors, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Assist in the installation, setup, and calibration of new equipment and machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance logs, and equipment manuals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
- Participate in training programs to stay current with new technologies and equipment updates.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production operators and other maintenance team members.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment; working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in maintenance work; ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints; excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment; willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed. Ability to fabricate (metal cutting, fitting, and welding) and build to specification based on drawings provided by engineering team. Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience preferred. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum five (5) years' experience as a proven maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
