Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Availability for on-call emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a need for precision and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented and team player.
Preferred Experience
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
  • Basic knowledge of using a variety of equipment including circular saw, drill, jig saw, electrical tester, hand tools, power tools, and cordless tools.
Daily Tasks
  • Perform all maintenance work orders.
  • Conduct biannual unit inspections, addressing maintenance needs.
  • Perform monthly exterior inspections of lawn, landscape, snow, trash, etc…
  • Handle move-in and move-out check-ins, ensuring follow-up items are completed.
  • Ensure tenants receive their keys promptly.
  • Assist with punch lists on larger rehab and unit turn projects.
  • Secure properties upon acquisition or for new management clients with new locks and keys.
  • Provide on-site labor support for rehab projects as needed.
