Job Description:

Job DescriptionResponsibilities include, day-to day maintenance and minor repairs for the property, common areas and other facilities, including performance of community maintenance work. Work should be performed independently. General supervision is provided by the Community Manager** Ideal candidate: customer service minded with experience in general building maintenance, repair, and groundskeeping to include painting, drywall, HVAC, light electrical, light plumbing, fixing leaks, etc. **Daily maintenance and custodial tasks performed year-round, seasonal, and on an as-needed basis.Prioritize and complete Checklists, Work Orders, and Maintenance Requests in a timely manner.Regularly walk the property; analyze day-to-day maintenance needs; report findings to the Community Manager; recommend preventive maintenance programs.Assist with property inspections. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on maintenance projects throughout the property.Perform seasonal duties and general maintenance relating to Common Grounds, Parking Area, Entrance, Club House, and Pool area.Check and perform needed repairs and maintenance to crawlspace areas under all buildings.Properly winterize all exterior common areas; snow-blow, shovel snow, and apply ice melt to the sidewalks and entryways of all buildings and common sidewalks.Store pool furniture for off season, power wash, inventory and place all pool furniture for start of in-season. Power wash pool deck areas for season and spot power wash through pool season as needed.Maintain the Office Building area, keeping the maintenance shop/office areas organized and cleaned. Properly care for all maintenance tools and equipment.RequirementsHigh School graduate or equivalent.1+ years of residential / general maintenance experience is required.Attention to detail, organized, and ability to prioritize daily assignments and work order requests.Ability to exercise sound judgment in emergency situations.Ability to work tactfully and respectfully with co-workers, homeowners and with general public.Customer service oriented with proficient communication and follow-up skills.Valid driver's license is required for employment.#LI-PK1Company DescriptionWith more than 300 branch offices across North America, Associa is building the future of community for more than 7.5 million residents worldwide.
