Maintenance TechnicianDuro-Last Roofing, the world's largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician in their Maintenance Department. The position is located at our plant in Kernersville, NC. This is a full- time, hourly position with excellent benefits.Essential Functions:
- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery
- Maintain facility and associated equipment
- Work with maintenance vendors
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Complete and submit company purchase requisitions
- Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning
- Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards
Position Requirements:
- 3-5 years industrial plant maintenance or electrical experience is highly desired
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step-by-step instructions
- Must have experience with Industrial Controls
- Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting, operating machinery, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication
- Excellent safety and attendance record
- Must be able to work overtime when required
- Self-motivated and be able to multi-task
- High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized
- Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually
