In this role, the candidate is responsible for maintaining the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds for TC Transcontinental. Major duties include, conducting and refining on preventive maintenance programs, performing maintenance tasks in support of plant modernization and expansion projects, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and improving equipment availability and reliability.Responsible for meeting safety, production, quality, and performance standards.What you will do:- Maintain the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds- Perform varied maintenance duties to include work orders and preventive maintenance to meet established maintenance and operations objectives.- Organize work for smooth, efficient operations- Accurately track all time and materials used to perform work orders and other repairs using both manual and electronic means.- Troubleshoot equipment problems and performs necessary repairs- Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager before modifying any plant equipment- Be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System.- Continuously improve the process as an individual and as a team memberOther duties as well, to include safety elements.$26 - $30 per hour, overtime built into shift schedule and additional overtime available.
