Job Description:
The Maintenance roles will provide on the production floor leadership to build Progressive Maintenance (PM) capability (breakdown elimination) and technical support for delivering the team's operational targets such as safety, quality, and efficiency results.Every day you will identify and action risks to safety, food safety, quality, and production losses. Technical Resources must also lead and coach root cause problem solving with the other technicians on their team, effectively communicate priorities and escalate issues within their area and across shifts. You will need to have thorough understanding and mastery of manufacturing reliability fundamentals.This role will support the development and execution of clean, inspect, lubricate (CIL), center line (CL) and defect management for their assigned area. The Technical Resource is responsible for maintaining standard running conditions of operating equipment in their area plus the repair or replacement of failed components, the ability to troubleshoot and repair unknown equipment issues and recommend adjustments to center line operational output of equipment. Basically, this position will perform mechanical and some electrical preventative maintenance on various manufacturing equipment and electrical panels. You will need to troubleshoot and repair mechanical (hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems at the component level) problems on all plant equipment, as well as have some electrical knowledge and the ability to learn electrical troubleshooting techniques.- Conduct equipment breakdown analysis- Register parts and create/update PMs in to improve the maintenance system- Possess a fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical drawings/schematics- Basic mechanical skills, metal working, plumbing, pneumatics, and steam fitting- Basic electrical power and controls, understanding of PLCsThey will teach strong mechanics the electrical side of their business.This is a 12-hour rotating shift position, that works 2 weeks on days, 12-hour shifts, 2 weeks nights and is a 2 on, 2 off, 3 on schedule that you will have a 3-day weekend, every other weekend. There is built in 8 hours of overtime in every 2-week shift and at this time plenty of other overtime available, some techs are working 20 hours overtime a week if they want it but other work less. Once they get to fully staffed overtime will go down, but there will still be some available.$27/hour+ 5% business unit & 3% site bonus. $1500 Sign On bonus, plus 5K relocation bonus.
