They are offering a rewarding opportunity of world-class technical development.The maintenance is electrical, electronics, and mechanical in nature so a good understanding of each technology is important.While these technologies share the same core concepts you will need to be eager to learn the specifics as applied to their manufacturing automation.Responsibilities:- 1st point of contact to provide 2nd and 3rd level electrical/controls/mechanical/equipment troubleshooting of production equipment issues- Responsible for monitoring area performance, identifying equipment/process issues, and following issues to closure- Manage multiple troubleshooting issues utilizing sound technical principles to drive resolution- Prioritizing issues against plant and department priorities- Receive training from engineering in technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) areas, on new processes/equipment and/or on procedural changes- Work with a variety of groups including operators, other support technicians, engineers, and trades to coordinate and direct equipment startup, repair, troubleshooting, and process changes- Develop/maintain a system to keep production teams current on process, equipment, and procedures- Support Preventive Maintenance efforts on equipment- Champion safety performance; maintain and enforce all housekeeping and safety regulations- As needed, develop, document, and deliver training packages for new or modified equipment to production and support groups in the plant- Assisting engineers in the design, troubleshooting, documentation, and implementation of new or modified production equipment.- Maintain the systems and actions necessary to ensure compliance with department certification programs, quality System Audit Program, and ISO 14000 registration- Directing maintenance personnel in the construction, testing, installation, and debugging of equipment- Fill in for Shift Supervisor as needed- Participate on a trained spill team for department; participate in monthly spill drills projects- Process and equipment changes, safety improvement, Lean manufacturing, workforce developmentA great opportunity to grow technically, enjoy and more consistent work schedule and leverage your military-experience to build a career in manufacturing maintenance and engineering.$25 - $30/hour with overtime (5-10% average with up to 30% available.)
