This company is a global leader in construction machinery manufacturing, and they want to fill multiple Maintenance Technician roles their Kernersville, NC facility.The company is targeting a candidate with a technical background in maintenance practices for their maintenance team. They need someone who can efficiently and effectively provide maintenance support to meet the needs of customers, both internal and external while maintaining a safe and clean work environment for employees.In this role, you will need to show you can provide technical expertise to support daily operations and to achieve significant improvement in production related objectives.Additionally, you must have experience in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of industrial production/plant utility equipment, electrical/pneumatic controls, and instrumentation in a continuous production environment. You will perform corrective and preventative maintenance repairs and work on a wide variety of electrical, mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical production equipment and building systems.You must be familiar with typical mechanics hand tools, precision measuring instruments and electrical test equipment such as multi meters.Your responsibilities are troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical industrial equipment using drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools. They have PLCs at the facility, and you will be trained to work on them if you have no experience with them. Mostly you will need to show you can troubleshoot (diagnose and resolve) breakdowns of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems without assistance.You will start on the first shift (7am - 330pm) Monday - Friday for first 6 months. Then you will transition into 12-hour rotating days (7am -7pm). After 6 months you will end up on your ultimate shift, night (7pm -7am). This is 2-2-3 shift (work Monday, Tuesday, off Wednesday, Thursday, work Friday, Saturday, Sunday.)$26 - $30/hour plus shift differential.
