In this role you conduct preventative/corrective maintenance on the plant's extrusion and forming machines. This is an opportunity to build on your Mechanical and Electrical experience in the private sector. They will pay to send the right candidate to school to learn Programmable Logic Controllers. Growth opportunities exist to move into other leadership roles down the road. This is a global company with tremendous potential for hard working technicians. Openings currently on both day and night shifts but you must be flexible to both - work patterns are 12 hour shifts (7pm - 7am) with a pattern of 2 days on, 2 days off. Compensation is approximately 24 - 26/hr with total comp typically $60 - $70k+ (overtime available and built into the schedule). Location is Delhi, Louisiana - Northeast Louisiana - Local communities spread out in a suburban/rural setting. Many choose to live in Monroe, Louisiana and some live across the Mississippi River in Vicksburg. Sportsman's paradise - tons of hunting, fishing, and so on.
