Valor OilValor Oil, a third-generation petroleum distributor based in Owensboro, Ky., provides private-label and major-brand gasoline, diesel fuels, racing fuels, lubricants, antifreeze, and other petroleum products. We operate approximately 13 C-stores in northern Kentucky & Ohio. As well as the operation of delivering gasoline to wholesale accounts in 4 southeast states at over 120 wholesale dealer locations. Maintenance Technicians will be assigned job duties and expected to complete promptly. You will be expected to complete invoicing in the field and close out work orders. Valor operates convenience stores/gas stations and supplies petroleum products to various commercial and municipality companies. Job duties will range from basic construction; service, maintenance, and repair of fuel pump hanging hardware; working on signs and facias; responding to spills; replacement of filters; delivery of tanks; and other various tasks. Work will generally be performed within a 100-mile radius of the facility you are assigned to.Workdays are Monday through Friday with occasional weekend callouts. Additional compensation for obtaining a Class B CDL and Hazmat for occasionally transporting tanks.Requirements Basic knowledge and experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, and painting Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Routine walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting. Ability to work in different weather conditions. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
