Job Type Full-timeDescriptionPersonality Profile This position will require someone who values high quality, precision and doing things in a timely manner and correctly. Must be able to work independently on many projects at once while maintaining accuracy. Job Summary Conduct all plant handling, maintenance and repair of production plant facilities, equipment, systems, buildings and grounds operations. Job Responsibilities •Fill out requisitions in FIIX software.•Inventory parts used for repair of production equipment.•Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using the appropriate tools and be able to reassemble the equipment. •Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.•Update the Preventative Maintenance (PM) logs for plant equipment, buildings, and HVAC•Able to assemble and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues. •Read equipment drawings and electrical schematics. •Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.•Follow and create hazardous materials storage procedures and rules.•Conduct the wastewater treatment system operating procedure.•Actively promote safety and accident prevention by continually observing all environmental, health and safety policies, procedures, rules and standards throughout each working day. Other duties as assigned RequirementsEducation and Experience •High School diploma or GED required•Associate degree/Technical or Trade school preferred •Electrical experience preferred•Manufacturing experience preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities •Cognitive thinking skills •Tool Knowledge Including but not limited to: Tape Measure, CNC Folder, CNC Router, Forklift, Plasma Arc, Cutting Torch, Overhead Crane, Iron Worker, Saw, Drill Press, Power Shear, MultimeterPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with some overtime varying (shift hours may vary)•Split Shift Hours 9:00 or 10:00 AM - 7:30 or 8:30 PM M-Th. (with some Friday/Friday morning) Physical Demands •Lift 50 lbs regularly•Stand/walk 8-12 hours/day on a hard surface•Work long hours in a warm or cold work environment
