McNally Industries, located in Grantsburg, is looking for a Lead Maintenance Technician. The Lead Maintenance Technician will coordinate any Equipment Maintenance required. And maintain the preventive maintenance program and perform actual maintenance by acting as a technician.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate in a busy task-oriented environment. Schedule and prioritize maintenance needs and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate with Production Management on issues regarding machine tool and facility activities, work area safety concerns and supply status.
- Install, setup, maintain, diagnose and repair complex machine tools and equipment. Including researching and ordering of required parts.
- Work with external service providers to obtain quotes and schedule services.
- Maintain the machine tool preventive maintenance program. Work with Production Control personnel to minimize the impact to the production schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/ Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Hands on experience in a maintenance environment.
- Ability to perform well in a heavy workload environment
- Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Become qualified in forklift and scissor lift operation
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
- Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups; team player
- Maintain high work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft computer programs
